Following the International Fire Engineering Guidelines, the principal designer may use our experienced Engineers’ team in two different ways: designing a fire safety system and components or evaluating a given fire safety system. Our team can apply Fire Engineering either in the early stages of a project when the building design evolves or in the later stages when the design has become essentially fixed. In both cases, a fire engineering evaluation will be carried out to demonstrate that the building solution meets the pertinent objectives or performance requirements of the relevant code and other client/stakeholder’s needs.

Our approach is that, in any case, by understanding the building’s objective along with the Fire Code’s intent, we can provide alternative solutions, fully compliant, feasible and practical. In a modern world, Fire Engineers can use Information Technologies and Artificial Intelligence to provide essential support in buildings’ design and assessment. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Evacuation Modelling, Sprinkler Flow Analysis, are only some of the tools used to evaluate the design’s effectiveness and system’s performance before even installing it. Fire Experts will produce these reports and, more importantly, appraise the results providing the information required to fine tweak the design and systems getting the most out of them.
